Johnathan Neofytou is a principal in our Property team at Elliot Tuthill, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise in various legal areas. Admitted as a Solicitor in 2006 in the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia, Johnathan has a robust background in Property, Conveyancing, Commercial Law, Wills, Estate Planning, and Estate matters.

Johnathan’s legal journey humbly began as a Photocopy Boy, which then evolved to being a Law Clerk across several City-based firms. In 2007, seeking a change, he began practising law in the Sutherland Shire, where he has been based ever since. Over the years, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of the law, enabling him to provide clear and thorough advice to his clients.

His areas of expertise include:

• Residential and Commercial Conveyancing (including off-the-plan sales and purchases, and assisting developers and individuals with property acquisitions for development sites);
• Leasing, Caveats, Loan Agreements, General Property Law (including easements, rights of way, and covenants);
• Commercial Agreements;
• Sale and Purchase of businesses or shares in a company;
• Deceased Estates, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Enduring Guardianships.

Johnathan has also represented clients in police matters, including Criminal charges, Apprehended Violence Orders, Drink Driving, and other Traffic Offences.

Johnathan is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for his clients whether they are individuals, directors of ASX listed companies or corporations and recognising the importance of each matter regardless of its size or scale. He is known for his approachable nature and ability to simplify complex legal issues, ensuring his clients are well-informed and satisfied with the service provided.

Outside of work, Johnathan enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a passionate supporter of Rugby League, particularly the South Sydney Rabbitohs
