David commenced working with Elliot Tuthill in 1976 where his first duties were collecting the mail, filing papers and taking out the rubbish. He says that nothing much has changed. In 1981, David was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and has worked as a solicitor since that time with Elliot Tuthill. A lifetime of playing many sports has led to knee troubles. This now means his sporting activities are limited to playing golf (badly) and going to the gym. He enjoys watching most sports, loves food (too much), music and movies.
David focuses on property law and can help you with the sale and purchase of all types of real estate which you might own or which you might wish to acquire. That includes strata properties and off the plan purchases. He can help you if you are approached by a developer to sell your property and he can help you if you are a developer wanting to acquire several properties to develop and then sell those properties off the plan. Having extensive experience on both sides of the fence in relation to development sites, David will save you a lot of time because he knows what both sides will generally accept and reject and therefore this will reduce costs. David has also been involved in many, many commercial, industrial and retail lease transactions and can help you if you have a small business to sell or want to purchase one.
He has several policies. One of them is a “no waiting” policy so that you will not be kept waiting past a prearranged meeting time. Another one is a “no nasty surprises” policy so that you will not receive an invoice greater than what you were told..
